Question posted in the Consumer Protection Law category relating to Gauteng
I have paid a party planner for a baby shower I wished to be held in April 2020,due to the covid breakout I had cancelled my event and was advised that my full refund will be processed in 60days which has passed.
Since then I have not heard from the planner unless I initiate a contract with her and she now has advised me that she has no money she will not sell herself.
I'm on unpaid maternity leave and have a newborn to care for.
What do I do?
