Good day. My name is Jaco de Wit. I need some advice on a repair matter. I am currently a tenant and will move soon. The place I am in have wooden floors in the kitchen. There is a bit of rot in one wooden beam that had a lot of moisture over the years. I have not lived here that long and this house is very old. My landlord wants to replace the WHOLE wooden floor and have me pay for it. I think it is a bit excessive to have me pay for a revamp of his kitchen floor for one wooden plank? Any assistance regarding what exactly is a 'fair' repair in this sense? Thank you
