Hi, i have a problem with my landlord,i cancelled my lease before it got expired and theres a cancellation fee of 15% which is R3990 now my problem is that i told my landlord to use my deposit of 3900 for the cancellation fee and she refused saying that it was too risky and at the same time she doesnt want to give me my deposit immediately. she says i have to pay that amount when i move out at the end of this month.the contract says that if the landlord finds another tenant who will replace me i dont have to pay the cancellation fee just the advertising costs and commission but still shes asking me to pay the cancellation fee please help.what should i do?
